Lawn Fawn Dies Card

Hi everyone!! Happy July! Can you believe we are already in July?  Time sure does fly!
I have a card for you today that I made without stamping.  For this card I simply used dies.
Here's the card:

Handmade card using Lawn Fawn dies

For this card I created my standard size base by scoring some Neenah Solar White cardstock with my Martha Stewart Scoring Board.  I set that aside and began die cutting with my Sizzix Big Shot Machine.  First I die cut a piece of Neenah Solar White cardstock with the Lawn Fawn Stitched Journaling Card Die, then I die cut the Lawn Fawn Hearts Dies from two different color cardstocks and some scrap pattern paper, lastly I die cut the sentiment with the Lawn Fawn Thanks Die.

Now came the part of putting everything together.

I started by adhering the hearts with a little of Ranger Multi Medium Matte onto the white journaling card I died cut; I then adhered the sentiment with the same adhesive.  I was about to adhere it all to my card base but decided it needed something.

I decided that something was a black cardstock on the back of the journaling card.  I used my We R Memory Keepers Corner Chomper to round the corners so it can look a bit more like the journaling card.  I thought using my UniBall Signo White Gel Pen to create stitch lines would be a great touch.

I wasn't done yet because I thought my journaling card was still missing something and that was some twine.

I then adhered the journaling card to the black cardstock using foam adhesive.  Now all that was left was to adhere the black cardstock to my card base using my Scotch ATG gun.

This card was inspired by the sketch over at Retro Sketches:

I have also joined the Anything Goes challenge over at Addicted to Stamps

I hope you enjoyed this card!

Have a great day!
